Windows Networking Newby RRS feed

  • Question

  • I do a lot of IP based networking with unix machines. I have little to no experience with Windows PCs.

A client of mine has been sharing a Macintosh File Server with a bunch of Macs and a PC for years. We recently upgraded them from ADSL to Fibre and swapped out the router. The PC can no longer see the File Server.

What was the old router providing to the network that is now missing?
