I recently had some hardware related problems that took me way longer to correct than they should have. This was due to when the system would attempt to recover after the crash, the data collection would get to 65% and hang. So, when I then recovered again. The event viewer showed nothing but an "Unexpected Shutdown Has Occurred." This happens for all crashes now, no matter what hardware issues caused it. Here are my system specs:
Intel QX9650 EVGA 790i (E180) 6 GBs OCZ DDR3 600 GBs HDD (RAID 0, 2X 320GB Velociraptor HDDs) Windows Vista HP 64 Bit EVGA GTX 295 Creative X-FI Titanium and other sorted periphials (keyboard, mouse, etc)
I was thinking maybe I didn't have enough space left on the unpartitioned area, but I chose what Vista recommended. Any ideas??
