Some of my Windows 7 function aren't functioning properly - i.e. not "seeing" the built in modem - and was advised to reload Windows. I got my HP ProBook 4510s preloaded with Windows 7, so I have the product key but no disc. I do however have a Windows
XP disc and product key. Can I load XP and then upgrade to 7 by downloading Window 7 from somewhere?
Your HP ProBook has a Recovery partition on it. Either read the Owner's manual on how to activate the Recovery function or contact HP Technical Support for assistance. You should also be able to purchase an install disc from HP.
There are no publicly available downloads for Windows 7 unless you purchase it from the Microsoft Store.
