Looking for some advice - we have screens displaying information for visitors so they need to be on all the time. The computers they are connected to are on the network but logged on with local accounts. We have applied a number of settings to the power
Turn hard disk off - Never
Sleep after - Never
Allow hybrid sleep - Never
Hibernate after - Never
USB selective suspend - Disabled
Turn off display after - Never
Despite the above settings the screens still go blank and I have to move the mouse or hit a key to wake them. There doesn't seem to be any
obvious pattern either. Sometimes they stay on for 1-2 hours then go to sleep, other times it might be every 20-30 minutes.
I've looked at several articles but can't find a solution that works for us. We've tried applying a GPO that sets the power plan in case something else might be overriding the local settings but this hasn't worked either.
Computers are running Window 7 SP1.
I'm now running out of ideas. Any advice would be greatly appreciated
