Hi,
The StackHash error occurs when DEP is invoked and has an issue with whatever application you’re trying to run ,The error is related to Data Execution Prevention.
Firstly, I recommend you install updates for the application to ensure that the application is fully compatible with the OS that you are running.
After that , you may perform a clean boot to narrow down if there are any software confliction.

Disable Data Execution Prevention...
In Windows 7, type cmd in Start Search. Right click on search results ‘cmd’
and click on Run as Administrator... Then, copy paste the following and hit Enter:
bcdedit.exe /set {current} nx AlwaysOff

Well so far must say thanks for the Command Prompt method I only got the Stackhash error after downloading Important & Recommended Windows updates. Couldn't do the Control panel method cause it would crash with the Stackhash error appears to have helped resolve the issue tho, thx.Tuesday, October 11, 2016 7:04 AM
