Win7 inst dvd/Win7 sys recov dvd?

  • HP G2 320G sata notebook. Replaced HD.

Reinstalled Win7 with HP Systemn Recovery DVD (Win7 recovery media for win7 prod/2 discs + app and driver recov CD/1 disc).

Install went great till Win7 tried to boot and got "Windows could not complete the installation. To install windows onthis computer restart installation". Found many threads telling me to load win inst dvd/reboot/press key to boot dvd/etc. I get "BOOTMGE is missing. Press ctrl-alt-del to start, over and over. Tried to load Win to 19% and froze for hours.

Loaded Win7 64 bit repair disc. Got to Select op sys but none appears. says pick "load drivers" from inst dvd. Put in dvd. get list of folders, pick Drivers,,,Which one?

I have the 3 Win7 system recovery discs and a Win7 64 bit repair disc.

  • You would need delete of all partitions on hard drive to select unallocated space where you need Windows, during install of Windows.
