Does the issue occur every time when trying to use Remove Desktop connection? Please check if the issue occurs after restarting the Remote Desktop host computer and try to connect to it with the current computer.
If the issue persists, please temporary disable all security software including anti-virus software and firewall on both computers and then access Clean Boot to check the result. If the issue disappears in the Clean Boot environment, we continue to narrow down which entry is causing the issue.
