Ports for RDS License Server still TCP 135 and RPC 49152-65535?

Question
-
Hi,
I need to open firewalls to allow communication to an RDS license server to check out User CALs. Several years ago only TCP135 and TCP 49152-65535 were needed.
Are these ports still valid or have new ones been added?
Thanks,

Hi Luis,
The RD Licensing port requirements haven't changed in many years. Please see document below:
Are you experiencing an issue with your RDSH servers communicating with your RD Licensing server?
Thanks.

is there a case for the License Server initiating connection to the RDSH?
Hi,
Not based on my understanding (considering RDS roles only).

Amy

Hi Luis,
RDSH/RDVH contacts RD Licensing server during user connection when needed. RD Licensing server contacts Clearinghouse in some cases, for example, when Activating/Re-Activating, installing/migrating licenses, etc.

TP,
Thank you for your quick reply. I'm not having any issues. I'm just trying to come up with the minimal port list between 2012r2 RDSH communicating with 2012r2 RD License server. Based on the link you sent and a few others I read I'm thinking this is the minimal list needed for Per User CAL issuing:
- TCP 135
- TCP 139
- TCP 445
- UDP 137-138
- TCP 49152 - 65535
Do you agree? I assume the connection is always initiated by the RDSH Or is there a case for the License Server initiating connection to the RDSH?
Thanks,
