Will Windows 7 allow me to format a 16 Gb USB Sandisk Cruzer Flash Drive?
All I seem to get is an error message to say that it can't do it and recommending me to change read only files read/write.
I get the impression that W7 doesn't actually 'see' the plugged in drive because the dialogue window indicates that it cannot determine the capacity of the flash drive.
All very frustrating. Any assistance would be much appreciated...
Sandisk has some some software that you will need to remove to be able to do that.
There is a tool on their site to do that.
