Java not working in Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 10 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a Java applet that must run for clients to access the network. Most of them work, but I have a client with Windows 10 that the applet just doesn't run on.  It is a brand new Lenovo Yoga 710 and Java 8 update 101 was installed.  Using Internet Explorer 11. I do not receive any error messages, it just doesn't work. I've tried all the things that I've found on various threads but nothing has worked. Any advice?

  • does one of the java test pages work?
If not: did you install the correct runtime? For Windows 10 x64, you need to install the x64 runtime.
