    I don't suppose Broadcast Driver Architecture has been added back into 2012 by any chance?

    I too would like to know. Doesn't look like it. My Hauppauge Colossus isn't recognized by my HTPC software, even though it looks good in the device manager.

    BDA isn't part of Windows Server since 2008 version. But you can add it, have a look here http://www.tenniswood.co.uk/technology/windows/adding-bda-support-into-windows-server-2012/

    Thanks Ralliss!

    I had found the script Tenniswood used to build this fix, which was built to extract BDA drivers from a Win7 inatall, and import them into Server 2008 R2. I tried applying it to Win8/WS2012, and failed. Looks like Tenniswood got it right! My WS2012 is capturing video now! Thanks!
