Ebay log-in issue

    Question

  • I tried to log in to Ebay this evening and after I type in my Ebay name and password, I hit enter and it erases the log in information and makes you do it over.  The only way it will accept the screen name and password is if you move the cursor over to the the Ebay enter block on the screen.   Is this normal for Windows 7??

  • I just tried and logged in without issue by pressing enter and also clicking on the button with the mouse.

Have you tried clearing your browser cache and deleting all the cookies?

This usually works for me. I also just tested and it seems to work fine for me. You could also try using  the Compatibility View button.

  • Gordon, I just tried that and it allowed me to log in normally again.  I will watch the  cookie issue and browser cache thing in the future.   Thanks!  Do you have to open a new thread for a another problem?  I tried to hibernate and in like a minute the computer comes on by it's self.  Any suggestions?

  • Glad to be able help.

It is preferred to create a new thread as it makes it easier for others with the same issue to find it.

    Thanks
