Answers

  • 1. Click the site feedback link on the TechNet Wiki homepage, or go to https://lab.msdn.microsoft.com/mailform/contactus.aspx?refurl=http://technet.microsoft.com/wiki/

    2. Provide the e-mail address you used to sign in, and the new e-mail address you wish to change to

    3. Ask them in the form to change the "association" on your TechNet profile from the old address to the new one.

  • Lauren, I have internal folks looking into this, but they need your account name and/or PUID. Please send this by e-mail (do not post here) to tonyso@microsoft.com and I will see what I can do.

  • hello,

  • Is your issue with MSDN, TechNet or Windows Live ID/Hotmail? In your original post you mentioned your TechNet account, and in the last message you mentioned MSDN. These are handled by different groups. To help you, I need to understand more clearly exactly what the problem is.

  • Cloud-Ras,

First, this is a very old thread. The question was answered 8 years ago. Second, the setting you refer to is for email alerts, such as when someone responds to one of your posts. That setting is not used to authenticate to Microsoft TechNet/MSDN.
