I would like to find out what should be the proper way of updating my SQL servers in an offline environment for WS2016? The scenario is as follows:
A recent vulnerability assessment of my server flagged out the following finding; To upgrade currently installed version of SQL server
13.0.4259 Express Edition, to version 13.0.5026.
Upon checking Mircosoft's KB, ver. 13.0.5026 is a Service Pack 2 (SP2) update. As of today, the latest release of SQL update is CU14 for SP2. My question is, should I just install SP2 on its own, or to install SP2 + CU14 afterwards?
