    Hi

The error code  0xC004E003 simply means that the Software Licensing Service reported that license evaluation failed.

Here is what you need to do.

    1. Press the WINKEY+R to bring up the Run dialog box.

    2. Type  SLUI 4  in the box and press OK. This will start the Telephone Activation Wizard.

    3. Select your country in the drop down menu and click the Next Button. Follow the instructions on the screen and call the number that is shown there.

Follow the recorded instructions and when the telephone activation fails, stay on the line and an Activation Representative will answer. Just describe the problem you are experiencing and they will manually activate the system for you.

    Hope this helps.

Thank You for testing Windows 7

  • Hi,

I was in the same situation. The solution of my problem was to update Windows Seven before to activate the licence.

    Tell us if it helps.

    Julien

(same problem with Windows Server 2008)

  • Please start a new thread of your own, and post an MGADiag report.

To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool
(download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
     Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.
To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.
      - **in your own thread**, please

Please also state the Version and Edition of Windows quoted on your COA sticker (if you have one) on the case of your machine (or inside the battery compartment), but do NOT quote the Key on the sticker!

  • I am curious, I have a win 7 pro Dell, with the sticker on it....

this particular post the 3 parts of the key you posted are exactly the same as the numbers on my OEM sticker... I would be interested if the rest is the same, in 20 years of IT I have never seen even closely near identicale keys before....

Did Dell mess up ??? if so SOMEBODY needs to provide us IT admins new keys to use.... having to reactivate multiple PCs via phone because of somebody elses mistake is not cool at all .
