Vista Home Premium(32 bit) to Windows 7 RRS feed

  • Question

  • I am wanting to upgrade Vista to Win7. My current system is 32 bit. I want the easiest process and am not eager to get into a complicated upgrade for this one laptop. On the TechNet dowload site, is Windows 7 Home Premium N (x86), the version for 32 bit?

  • Hi Valnem,

The (x86) are indeed the 32-bit versions. The N versions however are without Windows Media Player. If that is what you want then you have the correct version.

Hope this helps solving your issue.

  • Yes, you can download Windows Media Player afterwards.
Yes, only the N and the KN versions do not contain Windows Media player.
