  • Move the files from local disk (d) to local disk (e)

    Insert Windows 7 64-bit DVD .

Reboot and it shows press any key to continue .

    press enter .

    Select install windows .

    Select custom installation .

    Select local disk (d) .

It installs on local disk (d) .

Now you can dual boot at start up .

whenever you turn on PC , It show Earlier version of windows and Windows 7.

Select windows 7 to boot Windows 7 64-bit or select Earlier version of windows to boot windows 7 32-bit .

    That's all folks .

  • I did the similar double boot in the following steps:

    1. Backed up "old" installation to external disk

    2. Installed second (new) operating sysstem

    3. Install free version of EsasyBCD (http://neosmart.net/EasyBCD/)

    4. Returned the "old" operating system

    5. Configured double boot
