Unable to connect with Remote Desktop after 1607 update RRS feed

  • Question

  • I upgraded my workplace PC from Win7 Pro  to Win10 Pro, and up until two days ago, I was absolutely satisfied with it. But since the 1607 update, I've been having problems with the Remote Desktop Connection. I try to connect to the server - which is in another country - as i have always done, but right after I provide my credentials and just before I log in, I get disconnected, with this error message:

    >Your Remote Desktop Services session has ended, possibly for one of the following reasons:

    >The administrator has ended the session.

    >An error occured while the connection was being established.

    >A network problem occured.

    >For help solving this problem, see "Remote Desktop" in Help and Support

The exact same thing happened to a colleague after he installed the 1607 update, so I am quite sure there is a connection here.

The server's OS is Windows Server 2012.
