Enable Ad Hoc Report Executions Greyed Out RRS feed

    Hi,

    When I connect to my SSRS instance using SSMS and select properties / security I find that the "Enable Ad Hoc Report Executions" option is greyed out.

    Does anyone know why this might be the case and what I need to do to enable this option?

    This is SQL / Reporting Services 2012 SP2.

    The reason I want to enable this is because this instance is used by SCCM and I believe it needs to be able to run Ad-Hoc reports.

    Hi Phil,

    In Reporting Services, the option “Enable ad hoc report executions” is used for ad hoc report which data source is retrieved from report model. And there is an option "EnableLoadReportDefinition property " which determine whether users can perform ad hoc report execution from a Report Builder report. In your scenario, you can change the value of the EnableLoadReportDefinition property as true to enable ability of performing ad hoc report execution.
