Windows 1511 in-place upgrade

Question
-
I don't see this update in SCCM, anyone have the ID #?
Are all these forced in-place upgrades the new norm?
How do you recommend we cleanup windows.old?
thanks.

If you have ConfigMgr 2012 R2 SP1 / 2012 SP2 you need to upgrade them via the Inplace Upgrade Task Sequence: http://blogs.technet.com/b/configmgrteam/archive/2015/06/16/revised-content-for-the-win10-in-place-upgrade-via-task-sequence-for-configmgr.aspx
If you have ConfigMgr CB (1511) you can use the Servicing Feature.

Not using the software updates feature (when using CM12). See my reply you unmarked as an answer: you would have to use the OS inplace TS.Torsten Meringer | http://www.mssccmfaq.de

Have you enabled the new Upgrade Classification on your SUP?
Regarding the Upgrades and the new Windows-as-a-Service Model in general, you will find all the needed informations here:
https://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/mt598226%28v=vs.85%29.aspx?f=255&MSPPError=-2147217396
If you perform the Windows 10 Upgrade on a existing OS, a Scheduled Task will be created that removes Windows.old after 30 days. You can also automate cleanmgr.exe (Disk Cleanup Utility) which does the Job for you aswell.

thanks, I have added Features on Demand along with most the rest under Products via SCCM.
Still don't understand how I "control" it. Did I miss that?

You can control it with the new Windows 10 Servicing Capability of ConfigMgr CB (currently 1511)

This cannot be installed/updated using CM12 and the software updates feature. You would have to use to OS inplace upgrade task sequence instead.Torsten Meringer | http://www.mssccmfaq.de
