Windows 10 1803 IrDA RRS feed

  • We have a old IR receiver that is working on 1709 after running the following command netcfg –u ms_irda netcfg –c p –I ms_irda as per the support document but the netcfg command has been removed in 1803 what is the alternative command?

    Thanks for posting in the forum.

    May I ask what do you mean by saying as per the support document but the netcfg command has been removed in 1803?

    Based on our test we can still run netcfg command on Windows 10 1803 computer. Would you please share us the support document as reference?

  • So there is no work around for getting IR to work on Windows 10 1803? Or is it that we need more up to date IR Dongles to get it working on 1803

    So if a manufactor has written their own IRDA stack will they still not work?
