How can I make documents in One Drive publicly accessible for a cloud based application?

Question

Hello community friends!
Looking for some advice on a project I am working. Her is what I am trying to do:
I will be using a cloud based application that needs to access files that will be stored on one drive. In order for this cloud based application to access the files, it needs a URL that points to the folder / documents directory on drive. Is it possible setup one drive in such a way that I can generate some sort of URL that will point to the folders / files being stored there? for example something like
Public facing URL - documents.onedrive
Sub folders and files - /foldername1/foldername2/document

Hi Phil Balderos,
Would you please share more information of OneDrive? Is it OneDrive Online, OneDrive for Business or OneDrive for personal?
This forum focuses more on general questions related to Office desktop applications, and I am afraid your problem is mainly related to OneDrive developer platform, maybe you could get path-based addressing via OneDrive API. I'd like to suggest you post a new question to the forum: OneDrive Developer. You may get more replies there. Thank you for your understanding.
The reason why we recommend posting appropriately is you will get the most qualified pool of respondents, and other partners who read the forums regularly can either share their knowledge or learn from your interaction with us. Thanks for your kind understanding.
In my opinion, maybe you could refer to: Addressing resources in a drive on OneDrive and ItemReference resource type. When you have some questions or need support, please refer to Keep going about OneDrive API.
In addition, I find some similar threads that I hope they could be helpful:
Is it possible to get full path to a OneDrive item?
Excel's fullname property with OneDrive

If you have any updates, please feel free to let me know.
