The sound randomly stops working on my computer. For no apparent reason, the sound completely stops, without any noise before hand. When this happens, if I try to play music for example, the progress bar doesn't even start. The only way to bring sound back
is to reset the computer, at which moment I windows tells me it can't play the logoff sound.
I don't use the onboard sound card, as I have another one which I use for guitar playing (line 6 studio gx). When the problem doesn't occur, it works perfectly well. I completely disabled the onboard soundcard in the device manager just to make sure it doesn't
cause any conflicts and have the latest drivers.
Here are my computer specs :
Windows Version Microsoft Windows 7 (6.1) Ultimate Edition (Build 7600)
DirectX Version 11.0
CPU : intel core I5
