Powershell Knowledge in Task Sequence RRS feed

  • I'm tryin to implement a simple script that just turns optional features on and I can't get anyting to run within a task sequence.  I have been unable to find any helpful documentation.

  • I don't know about others, but for me that's not quite enough information for me to attempt to help.

    What's the simple script?

    does it run outside of the TS? 

    Does it run outside of the TS WHEN your context is NT Authority\System (not your own local login id) ?

    Standardize. Simplify. Automate.

  • There's nothing special about this. We can't offer any help really though unless we know exact details of what you are trying to do. Also, for troubleshooting task sequences, smsts.log is always the place to start.
