  • Hi,

1 what's the detail problematical printer model ?

the problem occurs for several different printers (for all cases)

2 can you enter winver in command prompt on client computer and look the os version and os version number ?[for example windows 10  enterprise 1809 (os build 17763.316)]

the problem appeared after reinstalling the server OS. The software on the remote stations was not changed.

3 what's the print driver did you use on both session host w2008 r2 and client computer ?

I did not install the driver on the server - each printer connects and installs as a remote one

4 Are you using "use remote desktop easy print printer driver first"  on session host w2008 ?

Yes - we checked this option - no result

5 if we want to get hotfix i think we can contact Microsoft support .There may be reserve it in Microsoft database.

The link above allows you to contact support only for non-business solutions. It does not allow contact to start for Windows Server

  • HI
6 check if below link can help you to get hotfix ?
     https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/hub/4343728/support-for-business
7 if the above suggestion can not help you .
from the link description "This problem occurs because the data sent from the server that is running remote desktop services to the client is unexpectedly dropped."
7.1 if you don't use remote printer redirect on client computers ,install printer server and deploy printers to client computers and session host w2008r2 by using user printer policy ,will this method can help you temporarily? because W2008R2 will end of support and many company are planing to migrate their server to a higher server version.
