    Hi,

Did the issue occur the first time when you started the computer after Windows Vista had been installed? Had any changes been made before the issue occurred?

If you did not make any changes on the computer after installing Windows Vista, I am afraid that this red background is controlled by your domain group policy. For example, the domain group policy forces your computer/account to use this red background or it forces to start a program such as an anti-virus program which loads red background at the logon screen.

Therefore, if this issue occurred right after installing Windows Vista and no changes had been made on the computer, I suggest contacting your Enterprise domain administrator for more information.

    Hope it helps.
