how reset network connection - force change IP address

    Question

  • It used to be that when looking at a network connection one could diagnose it or repair it.  Repair would force Comcast to give me a different IP address.  How do I do that now?

(see  http://www.vistarewired.com/2007/07/02/repairing-your-internet-connection  for Vista     There's no repair function in Win7 )

    Win7 7600

  • Hi Kris

This is the second time you have been warned about posting information on the leaked builds. Any further violation of this forum policy could result in you being banned from all of the Microsoft online forums.

Any unauthorized download of the RTM version is not like downloading a 'leaked' build, it is an 'illegal' download of a pirated copy.

These forums only support the official Release Candidate (RC) Build 7100 and Beta Build 7000.

Please see the following thread for a more detailed description of this policy and more information on the leaked builds.

    Windows 7 Unofficial Builds

    This thread will be locked.

    Thanks for understanding.
