How to disable Touch Functions in Windows 8 ?

    General discussion

  • Hi!

I have a problem with a windows 8 functionality that I can't disable. In fact, I have updated my Windows 7 computer to Windows 8. He doesn't have any touch-screen at all, but it seems that Windows 8 Touch functionalities are enabled (weird isn't it ?).

    Any advise is welcome.

PS: Does installing Visual Studio 2012 (MSDNAA version) can have something to do with this ? (I know it has installed virtual hardware.) In that case I'll just uninstall it and get back to Visual Studio 2010.

  • if the computer doesn't support touch controls then the OS will auto detect it. And what touch functionality seem to be enabled for you?

If you are referring to hot corners and charms bar ,then those are there by default and not only for touch enabled devices.
