I installed Win7 32bit on my Tosh R500 and its mostly okay. After downloading and installing the Bluetooth Stack and Authentec Fingerprint software / drivers from Toshiba all the devices in my system were recognised by Windows.
Vodafone Mobile Connect (3G card software) also works no problem.
However, I have been unable to locate a version of the Toshiba Wireless Hotkey Utility for Vista / Windows 7. This utility allows the control of Wifi and Bluetooth by using the Fn + F8 keys. Tosh only have a version for XP, I have never run Vista on this laptop so I don't know how or whether it worked under Vista but I imagine it must of done.
Do you have a Driver CD that came with the system? Maybe the drivers are on there. If not and you didnt find them on the Toshiba site it most likely will require a contact with Toshiba to get the required software needed.
