Can't map network drive - Network Error 0x800704cf

  • I recently accidentally deleted a Microsoft Virtual WiFi Miniport Adapter from my adapter list and it caused a few problems.
The biggest one that I would like to resolve is no longer being able to connect to my NAS (Specifically a WD MyBook World Edition 1Tb).
After I deleted the adapter, when I would try to access the files on the NAS it would say that the connection didn't exist. I decided to try to remove the connection and re-map the network drive. When it wouldn't let me, I found a solution online to get rid of it which involved deleting a Registry Key (Somewhere in the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\LanmanServer\ key). This resolved the issue of the non-existant connection, but now I can't remap the drive.
When I try to re-map it, I get a Network Error message that says "Windows cannot access [NAS IP] Error Code: 0x800704cf".
I have verified that the IP is correct as the other computers in the house can still connect to it.
    Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 64 Bit.
