SCCM 1906 upgrade is not showing in our console to upgrade from 1902 RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hello

We are not getting SCCM 1906 software for upgrade in our test system.  Screen shot is attached.

Earlier we use to get upgrades and currently test system is in SCCM 1902. However, SCCM 1906 upgrade is not showing and we are blocked to upgrade it SCCM 1906.

This is urgent as due to this we did not know that SCCM 1906 us released. However, when others informed that the release is made available more than a month ago .

Please take a look and help to resolve this issue

    Thanks

  • Hi,

Maybe you are in the slow ring, please try to run the script manually to see 1906 in console.

PowerShell script from TechNet http://download.microsoft.com/download/4/9/3/493BC9DE-ACAC-4D11-8B7E-5AFCECC626C2/EnableEarlyUpdateRing1906.exe and copy it to your SCCM site server.

Extract it and run the script from PowerShell command.

    Launch an elevated command prompt

    1. Run PowerShell
    2. Run the Fastring1906.ps1 script
Fastring1906.ps1 <SiteServer_Name | SiteServer_IP> where SiteServer refers to the CAS or standalone primary site server
    3. Script will not force to  to check for the update.
Go to \Administration\Overview\Cloud Services\Updates and Servicing and click "Check for Updates".

You will see ‘configuration manager 1906’ in the console with downloading state. If it shows as available to download, you can select the update and click on download.

To see the status of download, please open dmpdownloader.log from SCCM logs folder.
