  • Hi,

What is your computer model? Please check if there is any unknow device in Device Manager.

Please update the latest BIOS, chipset, device driver from computer manufacturer's website manually first.

Also, you can refer to the following post.

  • Hey try this , If it works then reply .

    1 . Navigate to your Desktop .
2 . Right Click on the Desktop , go to New and then to Shortcut (In other words Create a new shortcut) .
3 . A pop-up Window opens showing “Type Location of the Item” .
    4 . Enter this path ( SHUTDOWN -s -t 01 ) (Without Brackets) .
5 . Click Next button , Name the Shortcut and Click Finish button .

Now whenever you want to shutdown , Click on this Shortcut .

  • Hello.

    1. What is the antivirus program installed?
    2. Is it updated?
    3. Check the non Microsoft services and disable it one by one
    4. Suspects your antivirus program (like symantec, Mcafee, Norton etc) still running on background.
    5. Check the event viewer and collect any logs are created.
    6. Check the System Bios and update it to latest one.
    7. Update the device drivers especially for Lan drivers
