Using Group Policy to apply ActiveX and Compatibility View Setting RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi, I would like to meet the requirement as shown in picture.

    How can I apply the both setting by using group policy and not affecting the existing setting?

    Thanks!

  • Hi,

    Thank you for posting here.

    In terms of those two settings, please navigate to

    1. user configuration->preferences->control panel setting->internet setting->security->local intranet zone->custom level

    2. user configuration->policies->administrative templates->windows components->internet explorer->compatibility view

    As for affecting, existing ones will not be changed if there is no conflict between group policy and existing setting.

    Best regards,

    Lavilian

  • I have tried GPP, but end user told me that the their IE setting has been reset. How can we avoid this impact? only make the change on specified setting?

    Thanks!
