I just recently started getting the error "nvlddmkm has crashed but recovered" error while playing 3D games and occassionaly within the system. Can anyone provide any support? Here's my system information:
Single EVGA 8800GT "Superclocked Edition" Asus P5N-E SLI motherboard Windows Vista Ultimate 2x2GB GSkill DDR RAM PC2-6400 (all set to appropriate specs) Q6600 Quadcore Intel 2.4Ghz Processor
A bit of history: Originally I didn't have this issue and was running only one stick of RAM. I was able to play Call of Duty 4 for a long time (in excess of 8 hours over several days) without any problems. I traded my 2GBs of GSkill RAM to a friend for 2 Corsair 1GB sticks. The problem began occuring and I swapped back and installed another 2GB stick. The problem persisted. I took one stick out. The problem continues. In the meantime I've attempted all sorts of software fixes, uninstalling drivers, BIOS adjustments. Anyone have any idea how to fix this? Microsoft Tech guys? I'd love your input on this problem.
