Unable to update to Windows 1809 or higher versions using the ISO files (1809 or 1903) RRS feed

  • We are facing the issue in almost 50 desktops and 29 laptops.

    Desktops (All DELL OptiPlex 3040/3046/3050 Models) have Windows 10 build 1803
    Laptops ( HP ProBook 4440 G4 and few HP ProBook 4440 G5) have Windows 10 build 1709.

    While upgrading the setups runs smooth but after first boot, it give an error message and rolls back. In few systems, the whole process completes but the build version remains the same.

    I'm afraid Windows 10 version 1709 (build 16299) has come to end of support.

    I know it is not the answer to your issue.
    Please check if there are some common points to the computers that have an error message or get roll back, and provide it.
