Speedtouch 585 Connection Problem RRS feed

  • Question

  • I have a Speedtouch 585 Wireless ADSL Router with the latest firmware. I have 2 desktops connected to it via a wireless connection both running Windows XP with no problems, but I have just got a new laptop for Christmas running Vista Home Basic and am having problems connecting to the internet. The Laptop connects to the router, but it is only a local connection, it doesn't get any internet connection. I have tried everything I can think of in the network and sharing centre within Vista, but I can't fix it.

    Any ideas?
