  • Question

  • I´m not sure if i used my Win 8.1 after the BIG Update, but i´m in trouble to try to use it to check e-mail

    One error for each account:

    Não é possível enviar ou receber mensagens da conta Hotmail

    Erro do servidor: 3204
    Servidor: 'https://mail.services.live.com/DeltaSync_v2.0.0/Sync.aspx'
    ID do Erro do Windows Live Mail: 0x8DE20003

    A saw an article about that, but i´m not sure if it is applicable to me, because the article talks about WIn 8 and i´m using Win Live Mail for a long time, since the WIn 8 launch with no problem

  • 1) Export the required piece of registry in a .REG file for backup purposes

    =============================================

    Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00

    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows Live\Communications Clients\Shared\Policies]
    "messengerclear.live.com_MBI_KEY_OLD"="MBI_KEY"
    "ssl.live.com_MBI_SSL"="MBI"

    =============================================

    2) In REGEDT32.EXE, Delete the "ssl.live.com_MBI_SSL"="MBI"

    3) Look, even after opening live mail and and checking, sending and receiving mail, the deleted data is not re-created

    YES! It worked!

  • I am having the same problem in the exact same scenario.

  • My problem went away once I actually logged in (rather than relying on the auto login). I logged out and did a test and it still worked.

    Did you try deleting "ssl.live.com_MBL_SSL" as suggested in the article ?
