  • If you have purchased a license already (like an upgrade), you can simply change the productkey from the System menu.

Open Explorer, right-click "This PC" and click "Properties".
From the Windows Activation tab, click "Change product key".
Fill in the Win10 Pro product key, the upgrade will start automatically (a reboot will be required at the end of the upgrade).

If you didn't buy one, you can buy an upgrade from the Windows Store, setup will start automatically after your purchase.

  • Hi,

To upgrade from Windows 10 Home to Windows 10 Pro, you'll need a valid product key or a digital license for Windows 10 Pro for the device you're upgrading. You'll have a digital license if Windows 10 Pro was already installed and activated on your device.

    Note

If you don't have a product key or a digital license, you can buy Windows 10 Pro from the Windows Store. Select the Start  button, select Settings  > Update & security   Activation, and then select Go to Store.
