  • I use 64-bit Windows 7 RC.
Used the 64-bit Vista, all was well used by all 4 GB of RAM

Are you using the 32 bit or 64 bit Windows 7 RC? If it's the 32 bit, it's normal.

  • Are you using the "remap memory" option of your BIOS? If not, a x64 system with only 4 G of RAM may behave like a x86 system (what memory concerns).

  • how to set? Are you using the "remap memory" option of your BIOS?

  • Well, if your BIOS supports remapping there should be an option "Remap Memory" or "Enable Remapping" or something like that. Set it to "Enabled", and done. Unfortunately there's no guarantee that your BIOS has such an option, even if you have a x64 CPU and a x64 OS. You may have to look for a BIOS update. If there isn't one, hmm...
