Unable to burn audio to disc.

  •      I have a Windows 7 Acer Aspire 5741Z and every time I try and burn a audio CD on Windows Media Player 12 this message pops up: Windows Media Player cannot burn the files. If the burner is busy, wait for the current task to finish. If necessary, verify that the burner is connected properly and that you have installed the latest device driver.

It will prepare the tracks ready to burn but wont actually burn them to the disk.    How can I get it to burn the tracks to the disk?

The CD drive or the DVD drive does not work as expected on a computer that you upgraded to Windows Vista
