I have spent the last few hours looking through hundreds of posts, trying to figure out how to fix the error i am getting. My laptop has been working fine, until i was asked to do an update to my Graphics Driver, after i did the update i had to restart.
After i restarted the laptop it has not booted since.
Everytime, i start the laptop it says "Missing or Corrupt NTFS.SYS file".
What i have tried:
Startup Repair does not work, it tries to fix the issue but fails, it gives the error code 0x0.
System Recovery Options > Command Prompt > SFC Scan (It does not scan, says requires reboot but when i reboot the laptop the same thing happens over again.)
System Restore (I do not have any restore points for some reason)
I have done a ChkDsk /f /r C: (It ends up with "Failed to transfer logged messages to the event log with status 50." Other than it looks fine.)
Does not load it Safe Mode /With Networking /With Command Prompt
I am not getting a blue screen or anything like that, i am not sure what else to try.
