HSLOCKDOWN to ADD a Management Group?

Afternoon,

I am currently migrating to SCOM 2019. I have both SCOM 2019 and SCOM 2012R2 installed, so running this in parallel until I get everything moved across.

Is it possible to ADD my new SCOM 2019 Mgmt Group to my existing DC that already has the 2012R2 mgmt group correctly configured? I only need it for a short while..

Hi Tony,

Yes you can multi-home your SCOM agents, although coexistence between SCOM 2012 R2 and SCOM 2019 is not officially supported, but since you're in the process of migrating, it's still doable and works.
