Windows Media Player Error C00D11B1

    Question

  • I just got this new laptop less than a month ago and it hasn't let me play music or videos due to this problem. I've looked in all the help topics about it and nothing fixes it. What am I supposed to do?!?

  • Hi,

First, please try the suggestions in this article and see if the issue can be resolved: Windows Media Player C00D11B1.

Second, try deleting ALL the files in the folder: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\DRM\as well as the files in the “Cache” folder beneath that.

If the issue persists, you can install a codec package to check the result.

For more information about codec, please refer to: Codecs: frequently asked questions.

    Regards,
