After sysprep "Windows is finalizing your settings" the screen goes black leaving the mouse pointer.
After running sysprep on a Windows 7 x64 Enterprise machine it shuts down as normal. The problem is after "Windows is finalizing your settings", the screen goes black leaving the mouse pointer. If a forced power cycle is done, it boots into "set up is preparing your computer for first use." And all is fine. It's like a reboot between "windows is finalizing your setting" and "Set up is preparing your compute for first use" never happens. Any ideas?
Based on my research, I found a simliar case like yours. I would like suggest you refer the solution form the link below and check if it helps.
Hope this helps.

The image was created on a wiped hdd.
When the screen go black leaving only the mouse pointer visible, I did notice a very very faint message box on one of the monitors. So basically there is some type of informational message not being displayed correctly. And out off dumb luck I faintly saw these window. I did an alt-tab and enter and it rebooted.
