Windows 10 Mail Application does not allow to Reply or Forward previously Sent emails sitting in the sent folder but then works if you move to inbox...

    Question

  • Hello,

This is really bizarre and from what I have seen others have had the same issue since 2015 and MS has not been able to fix...

I cannot Reply or Forward previously Sent emails which are sitting in the sent folder but when I move the sent emails to the inbox folder I can.

Can someone advise why this is happening and when this will be fixed?

I have installed the app on a windows 10 Enterprise build and I am using the Version 17.9029.21675.0 of the mail app.

    Best,

  • Hi Nasos,

You need to double-click the email which is in sent folder to open it, then you will see reply and forward options on the interface.

  • Hi Teemo,

What you are proposing does not work either. The only way is to move the sent email to the inbox folder, which seems very counter intuitive. Does someone from the development team read these threads? Can they fix it?
