  • I lost my software dvd (windows 7), So I could not format my laptop.

     My question is if can i format with any copy of win7 and use the product key on the laptop.

    If have to deactivate the key on the computer that is currently using
    the software and active it on the other machine once you have installed
    the software.

    You can use the key if the from your laptop if the Windows 7 Edition matches to the DVD you have/get from a friend. If the Online activation fails activate the Windows by phone:
