little problem with tracert command option RRS feed

    hello.

    I am trying to use tracert  utility to see the hops I am using.

    when I type tracert  -h or tracert /h switch  with my domain name after it, I am getting on error   option is not correct  ,I tried every possibility but still I am getting on error .I looked in tracert /help and I see you can use the option -h  -w - j  ect after the tracert .I work with a lot of commands for excample ping ipconfig I never met such a problem! can you give me liitle example with domain name john.com how I can use the option -j or -h after tracert command.

    Thanks for posting here.

     

    We should input a number after use the parameter ,like “ tracert \h 10 ” in order to specify the maximum number of hops in the path to search for the target (destination):
