Download my profile on a slow connection? RRS feed

  • Hi Experts,

    Does it mean that when you enabled the policy for this and this shows up during the logon screen, your connection to the server is actually slow?  Will it not show up if your connection is fast?  Please advise.

    As far as I know, this screen displayed is due to we have enabled policy "Prompt user when a slow network connection is detected".

    Description of this policy as below:

    If you enable this policy setting, users will be allowed to define whether they want their roaming profile to be downloaded when a slow link with their roaming profile server is detected.

    Yeah, that's why Im wondering because we have this policy enabled.  Does it mean that the connection to the server hosting the Roaming Profile is slow because this prompt is showing up?

    Hi,

    No, because system detected the connection is slow, so the prompt displayed and let us choice if we need download roaming profile.

    "Detected a slow connection" is precondition, and "the prompt displayed" is result.
