HELP!! Can't load CITRIX Network in Windows 7

    Question

  •  AT work I use the CITRIX network and also have it at home on my XP PRO PC so I can keep up to date with announcements at work when I am off.  For some reason, it will not work on Windows 7.  It tries to down the Citrix logon files and the "Launch.ica" but, Windows 7 just continually declares it as an unsafe file and refuses to install.  Any ideas??

Try using the XenApp Web Client plug-in , in .exe form. It is how I use Citrix under Windows 7 100% of the time.

  • I have had issues using some remote desktop apps when using IE9. It would often ask me to open or save "launch.ica" Switching back to IE8 made these VPN connections work much more smoothly, and automatically launch as they should.
