In reports Under Vendor list I am not able to see Microsoft. RRS feed

  • Hi Folks,

    this seems to be weird but I am not able to see under Vendors category as Microsoft. I am not sure what is causing this issue and how to fix this. 

    Please check the screenshot where under Vendor list Microsoft is not available. Your help in this would be greatly appreciated.

  • If you navigate to the All Software Update node in the console (in the Software Library workspace), do you see updates from Microsoft there?

  • Hi,

    When you select Microsoft vendor, did you see any Microsoft updates in the console? 

    The vendors list is read directly from the CM database. So, please make sure the SUP is healthy and you have fully synced with MS.

    In addition, someone encountered a similar issue and finally it was an RBA permissions issue.   • Hi Tina,

    Above screenshot shows that I can see Microsoft Updates on the console OK without any issues. The solution link which is provided by you I checked that and that is changing something in report data-set and I don't want to make any changes without knowing the reason for it or root cause. It is not marked as answer or solution for the mentioned problem. However, when I run the query of the report on my CM DB it shows one NULL value and I am pretty sure that is Microsoft which has been somehow overwritten. I need to find how it happened and how can this be fixed without making manual changes to Data set in Reports.
